At 6:30 PM on Friday, September 12, 2008, the night before our auction, we are pleased to present a special event at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. We will be hosting our ninth pre-auction lecture. It will feature Dr Midori Oka, Associate Curator of Japanese Art at the Peabody Essex Museum of Salem. She will be presenting:
Myths and Legends in Japanese Art
Dr Midori Oka is a graduate of the University Of California with a BFA in East Asian Art. She achieved an MA with honors and then a PhD at the University of Kansas, in Art History.
