| Setup a Mobile Alerting Device |
Most digital cell phones and digital pagers provide an email address to which short text messages can be sent. When a short email is sent to that address, you receive the email on your mobile device as a "page". This can be particularly useful in alerting you about the status of an auction that you are participating in. A page from Tradewinds Antiques will alert you when you have been outbid or when an auction you participated in ends, so you can be informed even if you cannot be near your computer!
Please note that the wireless email address will not replace your existing email address, and you will
continue to receive all notification emails on your computer. |
